Very cool piece of art! I didn't realize it was on glass at first so I was trying to figure out how the center pieces were supported. lol
It does look suspended. It has a strange effect when you move, like it's hovering.
How interesting! I'm still wondering how he made that middle part transparent.
I'm not sure how they put it on the glass. It may have been painted or maybe they used some kind of plasticky material like a decal. I should have taken a closer look, but I was in a hurry :D

This is true. The background sky was gray in the afternoon, but it would look totally different if it had been blue or a different time of day.
Yes when it changes to brighter one it will give another story to that work.
