I was there in 2022 and didn't see that happening at any time (at least not at the tourist spots I visited).
Unfortunately, there has been an anti-tourism wave in places like Barcelona and other big cities. Tourists bring money, but they also bring transformation that some Spaniards are not comfortable with. I'm still going if I get the chance. Ole! 😄
