I might be wrong but this sounds like a "careful what you wish for" situation. With the small user group that we have you risk chasing everyone to other front-ends
You could pay the ones viewing the ads. But I feel like you're opening a whole new can of problems with that

That would be awesome, PeakD is probably the one frontend that could make something with it because of its traffic.
But I know many on Hive dont support ads as they are intrusive.

PeakD already have post boosting through burning hive to @null... I can see a system where instead of that, the ad cost is distributed to the viewers...

whats the point of making a series of evergreen posts to make a collection when they dont yield rewards after it?
of course the main goal shouldnt be the rewards, but it does suck
Well you right it shouldn't be all about rewards. But if the incentives are like this, it will give the outcome that people dont focus on evergreen stuff.

you pay X Hive to be rewarded for N viewers (plus @null tax for boosting?)
The bot makes a container post with 80-100% of rewards to the original account
The first N people to upvote get liquid Hive from the initial transaction
I'm sure it's possible, but if I have to start seeing ads to use Hive, I'm gone.
The freedom from crappy advertising is my favorite thing about this place.
Never all front ends will show ads, the one that will, will probably an advantage to it. Like a reward pool ect.
It's not just ads like on tiktok that only reward creators
Ads on TikTok mostly reward the platform. If Leo was spreading out revenue from their ads, I sure didn't get any.
Yes tiktok ads, but here it would allow the platfrom to take smaller share of the revenue and then simply redistribute the rest someway.
