@meno , is it not possible to persuade the big front ends to allow notifications from the comments posted from sample to appear on the notifications feeds? There'd be more chance of engagements and rewards which would drive more people to use it?

I'm sure @meno will have a better more technical response, and you're right, having notifications pop will prompt more engagement.
But we also thought that Snapie could be the kind of app that doesn't seek to constantly dominate our attention - unlike other commercial apps.
I get notifications in peakd. Or did you mean the post feeds? Snaps has their own entire section in peakd and a very prominent menu item. If it was something else again sorry for not understanding 😅
Thank you for the heads up. I actually meant in the general notifications. I only use ecency, usually on mobile.
Snaps/waves/threads are just comments so you should be getting notifications of them unless ecency doesn't notify for comments.
It notifies replies, but not the original snap/comment so it's impossible to know when a friend has created a new snap. Sorry, I didn't explain myself well!
Ahh gotcha. As I said peakd has a whole section for snaps (the titles at the top are following/newest/trending). Might be tricky to implement into the same following feed and some front ends/people may just want to focus on long or short form :S
Ahhhhhhhb but on the snapped app, it shows you only snaps from the people you follow! Answer: Just use Snapie !!!
