Decades later, I can finally solve a Rubik's Cube. 😂🤣
Now @afturner and I are competing to see how can solve it faster. She is down to 1 min 30 secs, and my best is 1 min 50 secs. I don't think I'm catching up to her any time soon. Gonna have to learn the speed algos later.
I'm so old, and so lazy....I used to peel the stickers off my Rubix, and stick them on so it looked like I figured it out lol
I did that too, when I was 10 🤣
The funny thing is, the fastest in the world record is a kid.. I think he is like 8 years old, and got it in just under 3 seconds. I just don't get it...
And some even blindfolded...
LOL! You can also take it apart and put it back together solved... Sometimes you have to if the pieces get flipped around. I don't know if this happens on Rubik's branded cubes. The so called 'speed cubes' can get twisted around if you move them the wrong way!
So I wasn't the only one LOL Thankfully lol

Did you figure it out on your own, or use a tutorial? I think I could have tried my whole life and not figured it out on my own.
Even with a turorial. I often came to the point where I had just a few squares left, but ruined it again and had to start all over again.
Congrats! I have one, 1st edition from Hungary, but never have time to play with it.
I tried to for years to solve it on my own.. the best I've ever done with no help is everything but one row and the top. I had to learn some methods on youtube, but now I can do it consistently.
It's crazy what people are capable of doing with the cube. I know there are a lot of tutorials, maybe one day I can join this crazy club and try to learn how to solve it 😃
