Mt Washington across the eastern slopes of the #CentralOregonCascades. Taken from the Santiam Wagon Road July 2021.

If a mountain can be "cute" ... Mt. Washington is over there just going, "Hey y'all ... just filling in the skyline here for you so you have symmetry in the photo ... just helping out!" Again, great composition!

It does come in handy for a lot of my shots!

Are the trees already old or dead, or are they like that because of the time of year?

Here at home, some fruit trees are almost "naked" without leaves because of our winter (cold weather, but no comparison with your winter. LOL).

They were pine trees like the one still growing that is sticking out the top of the picture. A fire burned them all but that one. The smaller trees all around that look like bushes will one day grow as tall. :)

What a shame, I didn't really think about the fire, unfortunately that happens. But it's good to see that not all the trees were affected by the fire.

The cycle of life. :)

A different landscape, with trees without branches. What kind of trees are these?

Old pine trees that were lost to fire some years ago.

those logs are high..... to the moon :)

Yep. Old fire victims.

Ohhh. Sad to know. I thought those tress just lost leaves because of snow

The thinnest trees look like wireless power towers, haha!
