All my guesses about what it was were wrong. Had to look it up to figure out it was canola.
This looks like one of the prairie provinces here in Canada, where they also grow canola. Nice yellow colour against the blue sky.
I've been through that area a few times over the years and this was the most fields of yellow I had seen. Must be the hot crop this year. :)

It's canola. At least that is what my research of what is planted in that area said. :)
