I'm about 15 miles away here. I checked the metadata in Lightroom and was surprised I could see that the focal length was 16.5mm on this shot. I took it with an old FujiFilm Finepix A210. It was pretty good little point and shoot camera I had back then. :)
It lost the top 1000 feet in an eruption in 1980 but yes it is still a good effort to get to the top. Probably more effort than this oldmans has left in him. lol
Greetings @oldmans ,
Such a lovely photograph....it seems almost a close up of Mt St. Helens...interesting.
Cheers, Bleujay

Thank you @oldmans ....now it is even more interesting. ^__^
The lesson here that I've learnt is that pictures can be timeless. This image could well have been taken yesterday in my view :)
They are always there to help retrieve a memory and make it feel like just yesterday. :)
Sure! Brings us back to the moment it happened, kind of reliving it again in the present!
Hiking adventure? 😅
It was a day hike but still an adventure. :)
Very high. Big effort to reach the top I guess.

That's a great photo! I like how the treats form sort of a frame.
Yeah, I could have used one on the left to even the frame out. :)
go back! It's been 17 years. Maybe a tree has popped up! 🤠
Maybe someday. 😁
