Yes, it was last weekend while I was traveling to the west side of the Cascade mountain range. The west side is lower elevation and and they haven't really had a hard freeze yet, so fall was still in progress.
There are some dead ones on the hill side that were burned in a fire several years ago. I suppose those could come down at any time. The living ones though are pretty sturdy. :)
That's a striking shot. I just saw a misty mountain this morning and thought about taking a picture but wasn't fast enough.
It was a roadside stop while traveling last weekend. I have never seen this mountain enveloped in clouds this way.
Perfect timing.
Is it taken these days? Some of the trees still have quite a lot of leaves.

The mist is beautiful, even the landscape is good.
Yeah, they joined together nicely in this shot.
Thank you 🙏
The view is very attractive.
Yeah, the way the clouds were mixing in with the trees it almost looked like smoke rising from the ground.
Will those trees stand the next season, am not too sure

Those burnt ones can still grow again if they get some rain 🌧️
What a beautiful view! The clouds created a great effect in the photo. It looks like the clouds are moving.
