I started selling some of my sports cards I've had since I was a kid. Got $325 on Ebay for a lot of about 300 cards from 1970-71.

Legendary. Excellent sale. For you and for whoever bought it.
Yeah, I'm creeping up on 70 years old, it's time to move these things on. :)
What are they used for?
No real use. Just collectibles for football teams here in the U.S.
I got these by buying many packs of 5-8 cards for about .10-.25 cents when I was about 12. Now it is big for investment and collecting by adults.
What an epic collection. These cards inspire so much cool nostalgia for a different era.
I agree!
It was a good start to beginning to move my collection on. It's time for someone else to enjoy them now. :)
I can imagine.
It's like time travelling machine, haha!
It was good money, but I thought it might be worth a little more (because of the "time" factor).
I think it's a fair price for what I had. I've had cards graded by professionals and they can make some good money that way. I just don't have the time, patience or money to try and find the good cards to send in. Selling them raw in lots works well for me. :)
It's all good then.
My comment came from someone who understands absolutely nothing about this, haha!
No worries. I have done it both ways and this is a lot less stressful. lol
From what I've seen in movies, finding the "perfect offer" is something quite stressful. 😅
