So pretty. This definitely feels like a sunrise rather than sunset... It might be the slight haze that points to morning mist... Its interesting how we're wired to sense these slight differences in color, atmosphere, shadow intensity that allows us to tell time apart.
honestly, no... I just assumed anyone can develop the skill if they want to. I think that, as a pattern-recognizing creature, the skill get fine-tuned with practice.
But reading about it might be more insightful also.

Yess... same, I think of that often. I have a pretty good shadow reading too. I can tell when time it is by the length of the shadow.

It was sub-freezing this morning. About 30 deg. F No snow though. What you are seeing is a white covering to protect the new plants at this mini farm.
Also you can see the view toward the sunset has a few trees in the way. Also with the longer days might be past my bedtime. Lol
