All the fires in our region have made the air quality extremely bad. I'm the blue dot on the watch duty map sitting in unhealthy air. The fire near me is pretty much contained but all the smoke is creating some apocalyptic scenes.

That's one massive cloud of smoke. We started getting the orange filter yesterday when a thick haze covered the sky. It's better today, but the haze is still there. You seem to have a much higher concentration there. That's much harsher on the eyes and throat.
Yeah, we are in it for a while I'm afraid. Any outdoor type activities and I have to consider wearing a mask. 😐
I have noticed more people than usual wearing masks around here. I don't know how well it protects them, but someone mentioned that that they had an N95. Ah, the memories.
Yeah when we are rocking a 125 plus AQI I'm in an N95 (95% of airborne particles filtered). Not the future I had hoped for but apparently the one we are going to get. 🤷♂

Yeah, we could use some rain but there is none in the immediate forecast. 🙁

Thank you! We were in level 1 evac status for a while but luckily they got the fire under control before we had to leave our house.
