Thank you! It was a wild night of colors, sounds and smells. Sensory overload almost. I should have tried to capture more pics but chose to just let this moment in time wash over me. :)

Went to a firefighter memorial/museum yesterday. This piece of steel from the 9/11 wreckage was there. Kind of moving to see an actual piece of the towers. I've got to go to the NYC memorial one day. Last time I was there, a few years after 2001, it was just a hole in the ground, a construction site.

Around 1/4 of that of I remember correctly. I'm trying to maintain it at least above 5 HP per week, for now.
Consistency is the key and then watch it grow. :)

Anyone else struggle with whether to keep all your HP and manually vote or delegate out to others? I love the idea of passive income, but it feels so much better to vote for people, even if it's not worth much. I'll call it my little part of being authentic.
In my opinion I think manually voting needs to be done by everyone to some degree. I understand that some have time constraints but it is an integral part of what the Hive experience is. That being said I also delegate some HP to other projects all in the hope of growing my HP.
What are some of the projects that you've found to give the best returns on delegated HP? I'm always curious to learn what's doing well in the market.
Of course, I always want to help projects that are doing well for #hive too!
@empo.voter and @eds-vote are the two main ones I'm delegating to right now.

Yeah, I realized real quick how much typing it would take to explain everything. lol. I figured the gitbook was close and if they had any other questions after they did some research, I'd point them to Discord and you.

Yup... I've debated delegating some of my HP quite often. But ultimately, I don't mind missing out on max EV if I'm able to control the curation manually and upvote articles and snaps that catch my attention.
Yeah, saving the votes for content I actually appreciate sounds like my preference as well.
Used to have such struggles previously until I decided to keep my stake and vote until I have much enough HP to delegate. I also want to keep my curation rewards as HP for further growth.

It depends on what front-end you are on -- Waves started with Ecency, Moments with Liketu, Threads with Leo, and Snaps with PeakD, although you actually can access Waves from Snaps and Snaps in its own community on Ecency, too!

Different Hive front ends, yet they all work the same. They are all Hive comments. Each one puts out s container post (just a post) and Hivers comment tob that post. The front end arranges them to look like chats. You can see them in other front ends though or explorers.

I like the way the bark looks on this tree. I'm not familiar with this tropical species.
It kind of looks like some of the pine bark around where I live.
It does look similar to pines and other species from around the Pacific Northwest. This was in Puerto Rico, so I'm not ready to make the species connection. I was so focused on that bark, I forgot to take a picture of the whole tree for later IDing. :D

Today I tried a completely new dish and it was amazingly delicious: Schweizer Wurstsalat (English: Swiss Sausage Salad), but as a vegetarian version. The sausage was simply replaced with tofu (not eternal 😂).

A busy market day here means the roads will be encroached by market activities.

The place is buzzing. If it's not necessary, I try to avoid such areas lol and take a different route when possible.
It's even better now that the roads are dualized. Was worse when the roads were not good.
The traders are beginning to encroach on the road again.
With the traders, it's their safety that I'm sometimes worried about. It seems very risk for them to be so close to the road.
They're used to it anyway. Accidents have happened but they still choose to encroach on the road.
