Update: we brought Arandy to a bird rescue and rehab center. They gave us a tour of the place, we learned that this is a family owned foundation, and thry take great care of all the birds. So we know we did the right thing.

True.. water is very important. However, too much of it is not also good as it can cause a condition known as fluid overload. It's good to drink enough... Not too little, and not too much. 2L per day is good....

Apparently it depends on the quality of the local tap water. E.g. in Vienna it is very clean and therefore way better (and cheaper) than packaged water which contains microplastics.

Quality is the most important thing.
Majority of people over here have a borehole in their compound which make the water really clean to drink. However, irrespective of how clean the water is, people still prefer to take sachet water or bottle water.
There's this mindset people have towards it. They feel like if they take the expensive water, they would look rich which in turn, would boost their social appearance. They feel like people who take bottle water are richer than those that take sachet water.

If you take tap water, you're seen as a poor person (not in all scenarios though). Lol...

However, I think package water is not actually better because sometimes, the water tend to have taste. Some smell and taste like dead rat, while some have a completely different taste.

Nonetheless, I think tap water is best, given that it's not supplied by the government. If it's from my borehole, I can take it. But if it's supplied by the government, then, I can't trust it.
