Well the chickens are getting a new yard. They're getting into Ricky's flowerbed and scratching up the ground cover he has planted. We took the fencing from around the garden and will make the new yard today. Already started working on it.

We've needed to do it. I'd be able to gather more eggs. As it is now they hide in the woods to lay. Which is more dangerous. I've had several hens go missing.

Metals - sooner or later tend to create infection - little bit possibility - specially in mouth.
yeah, metals are trickier you are right... I haven't caught up with the latest too, so might be that they made good unbreakable ceramic ones.
Ceramic ones are better option when you know that sooner or later you may have to consider for extractions

Yes, there comes a point where increasing your reputation becomes extremely difficult. But this will always depend on your content and the frequency with which you post on your blog.
Instead of focusing on seeking votes from large trails or whales, what I did was focus first on my content and improving it every day. Then, the votes started coming in on their own.
Of course, sometimes what to publish, where to publish, and how to publish it also have a significant influence.

It’s election day in one of the states in my country, yet instead of being a celebration of democracy, we’re witnessing killings, violence, intimidation and disruptions of the electoral process.
A country that claims to practice democracy, yet citizens fear for their lives simply for exercising their rights.
Is democracy truly democracy when people have to risk their lives to participate in it?
In your country, do elections truly give people a voice, or have elections become a battle for power as well?
In my country I lost my trust on our election system☹️
That's so bad because how on earth do we choose our leaders when we are not allowed to really do that?
Do they rig elections over there too or at what point does the process get altered to lose your trust

A very big shame at that. Why not just call a spade a spade rather than hiding under the umbrella of democracy.
Back in the days when I used to think this is a problem of my country alone
I wouldn't say elections are completely meaningless. They can still give citizens power. But when violence, intimidation and manipulation enter the process, that power becomes severely weakened.
Extremely weakened because who would want to risk their life because they want to vote when intoxicated powerful politicians are not bothered but just wanna win at all cost.
Nobody wants that o.
It's so sad that it's our reality today.
Our only hope is not giving up sha and not keeping quiet
This is the part we often overlook: democracy isn't just the ability to vote; it's the ability to vote freely and safely. If fear determines who shows up, then the legitimacy of the process is already compromised.
Exactly the point. Democracy is compromised already cos people who go out to vote do that based on risk that anything may happen at poling units
And it can get very dangerous most of the time.
Like seriously.... Firing gunshots at polling unit and tear gassing voters is the most wicked acts from these people. All because of position and power
Elections can give people a voice, but only when institutions protect that voice. Otherwise, voting becomes a ritual we perform while those with power decide the real outcome.
I remember the last election where devices were tampered with and results were not uploaded the right way. With officials taken to courts as witnesses or something. Like it's so seriously bad
I've heard of news like that in almost all the election I was aware of, heard so much about the last election too.
And I wonder how the body in charge of election don't feel bothered about their integrity with the consistency in electoral manipulations
The type of democracy we are witnessing now is nothing but a demonstration of craze where the opponent will intimidate people because they want to win by force
It's indeed a crazy attitude seriously because someone in their right sense would not force or intimidate people into voting for them. That's misuse of power
Is it because the sharing of rice and beans is not working anymore?
If someone is desperate and power drunk. They always tend to do the unimaginable.
Obviously, it's working but most people are no longer collecting it. Just few are, so they always find others means like sharing money
I guess people are beginning to wake up to the reality of selling out their votes for years of suffering. With time the remaining few will be wise too
I'm just hopeful the wake up because these people will continue to weaponize poverty for it to be easier for them to buy people's vote
And when we wise up for them to see that the poverty strategy isn't working, they will sit up. That's why this whole thing still bounce back on us citizens
Currently, election isn't giving people voice because the government has failed the people by not providing fear and credible election. They pay thug to chase the people away and won't allow the police and media authority to do the necessary during election day...
Like is there no external body that can actually curb these atrocities if the leaders are so corrupt to allow a peaceful practice of democracy?
The external body we have is INEC and they are not doing their jobs. International body only have limits.
And it's even shameful always relying on international bodies to settle our internal case that's supposed to be solved by us
