Last year, it was exactly 800 years since my Czech hometown of Opava was granted the city rights. To remember this anniversary, a special installation was erected in a park in the center of the city. The Co-Cathedral of the Assumption of the Virgin Mary (one of the city´s most iconic architectural landmarks) can be seen in the background.
