A bunch of my friends just traveled to Malta where they, among other places, also visited the Azure Window. Or the remains of it to be more accurate. In fact, I couldn´t even recognize the place from their photos and it´s not that surprising given that the actual window collapsed into the sea 8 years ago and now, it looks very different from what it originally was. I was lucky enough to live on Malta before this iconic natural landmark collapsed so I still have vivid memories of the Azure Window in its full splendor. And I´m really glad I have some cool pictures from that time as well :)
We've been frequent visitors to Malta over the years and I can remember it as it once was and definitely have photos of it somewhere. I'll have to find them at some point.
Happy for you that you also had the chance to see it as it once was :) People could have admired it for millenia but not anymore...

Did you mean the window fell down and mixed together with the whole ground.
There was no ground under the window - it collapsed into the sea.
Hope no one was injured.
