I have lived both - Single and relationship life. The feeling of "someone is out there if we call and visit and travel with" is for some reason unable to replace or fix. I feel depression is more manageable in "relationship".

I had a bit radical approach to learning to feel ok in most situations.
I imagine my fear (being alone forever, no one wanting me), and try to believe it and accept it. I sit with it as long as it takes to accept. Then I say “fuck that!” And go back to living my life with optimism.
I get that, relationships do help with emotional balance.
Different people with different perspectives when it comes to relationship and singleness.
Some people will tell you that depression is more manageable when they are alone.
Ah, the feeling of knowing there's that special someone is irreplaceable. I prefer to be in a relationship. Love makes our world pop.
