Till I fell then I was done after that🤣
I had somewhere to go Yesterday evening so I went and soaked in Epson salt to keep me from hurting (in already sore from picking a friend up who'd fell... twice)

Sore from lifting my friend. He weighs over 200lb. Had to pick him up twice. He's had a stroke and I bright him out for a visit. NEVER again if no one's going to be around to help. My son had pulled a double at work and Doug was also at work. 🤦
Such a difficult situation.
Sometimes, even when we want to help someone... We need to be mindful of our own limitations.
I hope your friend is doing well.
