I remembered a commercial that also did the same thing here in Brazil. I don't remember which company it was, but I believe they aren't selling as many cars now.

We had something similar in the UK with the Boots brand where they had to take the ad off immediately they had shown it, although for different reasons. It's all just got so out of hand.
The marketing team will likely be laid off.
Maybe they are already paid secretly by some competitors :)
