Posts should be original to earn. People can decline rewards if it's not their content. I do think there's value in sharing news in short form, but Hivers get to decide on what has value.

ok i've asked a couple people... what do you consider is non original content.
Original being that it doesn't exist on another platform? Even if their own?
Or if they're quoting a lot of someone else or some news report and if so how much?
I think it's a matter of opinion. I write everything from scratch, but it may be based on things I saw and I will try to give references. I don't think it's easy to generalise the rules.
k so what's your opinion? What is the definition of Original. It's uniqueness to being on Hive. Did it exist before it came to hive? Or is it something more about its Origin? Or an individual's effort+origin?

I judge each post on its own merits and my instinct. I'm not totally against people reposting their own content in Hive. Some do that from YouTube. If it's not their video then they need to add some value with original text.
