The gap is getting wider. Are people just selling the 'other coin'? We know it has no value and no development whilst $HIVE has plenty going on.

Who's gonna sell it when there's no working curation to give regular users any to sell?

I have seen one or two accounts making a lot, but I'm not sure if they sell. There must be others just holding some and trying to decide if they should bail. If it crashes then users may come here instead.

I am amazed that there is still people on Steem, nothing going on there compared to Hive.

From what I've seen it's pretty dead over there. They don't even have short-form posts, but then I doubt they have many developers.

No doubts about that.

It is interesting how the 7 day charts look so similar, yet the spread is growing. It does look like the last day is where a bunch of divergence is taking place.

They are actually going up at about the same rate, but that will grow the gap. There are obviously people speculating on both of them, but we know where the value is. If you want a laugh look at the $BLURT volume :)

OMG... I think I've produced more volume on Hive by myself than all of Blurt's volume for the last week... I mean, I guess it's got an opportunity to 1000x if someone really wants to get ballsy.

Someone moved $10k last month, but it didn't stay up long. There are some Hive 'refugees' over there moaning about Hive. I do think we have to be careful about driving people away. If they abuse the system then they have to learn that is not acceptable, but it can get personal.

Yeah, Hive can be its worst enemy sometimes when people attack each other and people start feeling this place is owned by a few.

Agreed. I believe Hive has the best potential of any chain right now, but we need to be careful about our presentation. It's kinda cool going back to school for a business administration degree after spending years in crypto. A different perspective I wouldn't have without it.

Both tend to still track close to each other chart wise, It does seem though that STEEM is tracking at a slightly worse pace which over time widens the gap!

STEEM is still just propped up by the korean market much like HIVE but our international usage grows theirs does not.

A couple of people take massive rewards over there. I think you have to post in Chinese or Korean to make much. It is a shame we lost a lot of Koreans in the fork. There are still some grudges being held over that.

What impresses me most (negatively speaking) is seeing the number of people who are still active on that platform. 👀

I was pretty surprised that my old Steem assets had as much value as they did when I sold them off recently. I was under the impression that Steem had been pretty much dead for at least 5 years now.

I sold mine ages ago. It's amazing that it still has any value.
