Nikhef, the dutch school which has a(multiple actually) very well known datacenter on campus, uses the heat generated from the machines to heat up student housing! It's a clever use of the heat! https://www.nikhef.nl/housing/datacenter/green/
I've been on that campus. Cool to see a school and datacenter in one. I bet the students have great internet.
