I worried the GPU on my newish PC was faulty when Ubuntu #Linux switched to low resolution, but some nvidia library updates fixed it. Next issue is trying to run a Windows app to update my MIDI keyboard. The Wine app tries, but has issues installing dotnet :(

Wine..? i never could make it work properly on my machine. it was that bad, i had to clean out and make a new Linux install to get rid of it. 😬😏
I just installed it on this PC. I have used it previously for a few things. I rarely need Windows, but some of these little utilities are not on Linux.
yeah, i had an akai pad i couldn't get playing on linux. sold it now... and bought a boss looper instead. which works fine without windows. woohoo
