Does it also have different terms depending on gender, like Spanish and other European languages? :)
Muito Obrigado! :D
Obrigado = Thank you
Muito = very much?

Yes, for example, masculine words usually end with "o" at the end and feminine words end with "a".
The words alone would be like this:
Obrigado = Thanks
Muito = Very
But when you put them together, they become Thank you very much
Ahh... that part always confuses me!
But learning languages is interesting, so I'll do my best!
haha, it's like that, learning a new language isn't easy. I use the translator for practically everything here, it's my faithful companion xD
I'm learning Japanese gradually through Duolingo and anime. I'm also interested in Spanish since my language uses some borrowed words from the language... And now, Portuguese. :) Translators are indeed very useful, but it's different when you actually know and speak the language.
Wow, you're really multi-lingual haha, in theory I only know Portuguese and of course I'm no teacher, many words I don't even remember how to write, the accents and everything. But now you're acquiring a lot of knowledge, that's really cool haha
I think it's more difficult to teach your mother tongue. I'm comfortable with teaching English, maybe (if I review) I can teach Tagalog/Filipino, but Cebuano (my mother tongue), I just can't. XD
I need to insert learning languages into my already busy schedule. haha
I didn't even know "Cebuano" existed, I confess I've never heard of it haha. But take it easy with so many languages, otherwise smoke will start coming out of your head xD
