Nope, it doesn’t really go bad in three days I suppose and they definitely don’t mind the smell! When they leave other animals come to finish what they let.

I think everyone is happy: the lionesses hunt, the whole family eats, and no one comes to bother them. When they’re done, the scavengers arrive — hyenas, vultures… and finally the insects.

Yes, that’s what I suspect. They eat, then they go sleep next to it, and once they’ve digested, they go back to eating. Their stomachs are huge when they finish eating — digestion must be hard and slow.
