Sorry to hear that, I hope he comes through. I also feel for you, because of the crazy bill you'll be receiving. Emergency pet care in my area becomes a choice between bankruptcy or euthanasia
Yep, $2100-$3100, paid $1500 deposit to admit him for 24-48 hours.

And yes, I was worried about that choice, but thankfully I am in a good place right now financially, so it's not that big of a hit, now a year ago, completely different story.
