Who has an interest in presenting things this way? Politicians sometimes use controversial topics that will be published in the media for attention or to change the public discussion from real issues.

I just hate politicians. 😡
The media lives on attention, clicks and audience and topics with aliens, secrets, conspiracies or politics attract instantly. The more dramatic it is, the more it is consumed.
The shame of it is, this shouldn't even draw attention. Trump does not have a very good track record when it comes to 'release of files'.
