In my country, I won't choose honesty based on my understanding, even if I want to be honest. I don't forgive others easily, even if they apologize, because I don't give anyone a second chance, even if it's someone from my family member, including my parents. In case of choosing between kind and right, I guess I would choose right.
Honesty is the best policy, and I'll always choose being kind
