Hello everyone! Recently, I have dedicated a significant part of my time to analyzing the front-end of @ecency! But that's not all; I have also conducted an analysis and research on the entire Hive project, noting the pros and cons (censorship, roles, off-limits topics, interests, etc.). But the time will come when we will talk about this as well. Today, we will focus on one of the annoying aspects of the #ecency editor. Despite the suggestions and feedback received (we are testing the results, especially in the last period), the editor continues to have some bothersome bugs! But I am sure that after this post, the #ecency staff, as they always have, will find a definitive solution! While we wait for this to happen, I am creating this brief guide that will serve a dual purpose:
1) It will specifically report the bugs
2) It will provide an example of how it should look after the resolution, because the second option is not intuitive for those who are not in the field, especially if they are newcomers and/or not familiar with it.
😂But enough of the "chit-chat," and let's start with the step-by-step process.

Ciao a tutti! In questo ultimo periodo, ho dedicato una parte cospicua del mio tempo, per analizzare il front-end di @ecency! Ma non solo, ho anche effettuato un'analisi e ricerca su tutto il progetto Hive, notando pro e contro (censure, ruoli, argomentazioni off-limits, interessi, ecc.). Ma verrà il tempo in cui parleremo anche di questo. Oggi ci focalizzeremo su uno degli aspetti fastidiosi dell'editor di #ecency. Nonostante suggerimenti e indicazioni accolte (ne testiamo i frutti soprattutto nell'ultimo periodo), continua l'editor con alcuni fastidiosi bugs! Ma sono sicuro che dopo questo post, lo staff di #ecency , come sempre ha fatto, porrà un rimedio definitivo! Nell'attesa che questo accada, faccio questa breve guida che avrà un doppio ruolo:
1) Segnalerà nello specifico i bugs
2) Darà un imput (esempio) come dovrebbe essere dopo la risoluzione, perché la seconda opzione non è intuibile da chi non è del settore, soprattutto se neofiti e/o non hanno dimestichezza.
😂Ma bando alle "ciance" e partiamo con il percorso passo per passo.

So far, everything's fine; viewing will be centralized in the editor. But once saved, the video will end up on the sidebar, ruining the alignment of the entire article.
Fino adesso tutto normale, la visione sarà centralizzata anche sull editor. Ma una volta salvato, il video andrà a finire sulla parte laterale, rovinando l allineamento dell intero articolo.

Now let's move on to a new bug, always using the same procedure! Namely, instead of the side video, a photo might appear centered directly (nothing, empty, image not visible). If clicked, it will open a new window that will take you back to the video! Obviously, this isn't nice to look at because it ruins the entire article, nor is it intuitive for the reader (who will certainly be annoyed by seeing a blank white image) and won't click. So, this is a bug that needs to be fixed quickly.
Adesso passiamo ad un nuovo bug, sempre su qeusto identico procedimento! Ovvero potrebbe apparire, al posto del video laterale, direttamente l accentramento di una foto (nulla,vuota,immagine non visibile). Se cliccata, andrà ad aprire una nuova finestra che riporterà al video ! Ovviamente non è nè bella da vedere perchè rovina tutto l articolo, nè tanto meno intuibile da parte del lettore (a cui darà sicuramente fastidio vedere un immagine vuota bianca) e che non andrà a cliccare.
Quindi è un bug da risolvere in modo celere.

Of course, the alternative is certainly usable, but it does not replace the effectiveness of the direct link from the video function (the simple copy and paste), which had a more professional effect and was done with fewer steps. Consequently, as I have always done, I suggest implementing the same identical dynamic, but automatically, in the "paste video link" section, to achieve the same IDENTICAL result, but automatically, facilitating newcomers who are not familiar with codes, etc.
I would also like to remind the @ecency staff that the 500 error is still present in the Waves section; the crash is also visible in continuous mode, especially when trying to comment, as I have reported even in recent days.
One of the solutions was the one given in another context, namely the insertion of lateral up and down buttons in all the indicated window openings, in order to simplify navigation, avoiding crashes and the consequent 500 error.
I remain hopeful that #ecency will want to be the revolutionary front-end that will evolve. Also, because my suggestions are free but not exclusive; the competition that reads me may already be implementing them. It is simply a matter of the will to improve and enrich, which the users (the only ones who can decide the fate of any project) will certainly notice, especially in the long term.
As mentioned on previous occasions, we must look through the eyes of the user. I hope these tips will be useful for ALL platforms that want to improve and make essential changes in this area, at the expense of those who want to remain "IMMOBILE."
Let the evolution begin; the race for improvements is only at the initial stage, so support innovation!

Ovviamente, l'alternativa è sicuramente utilizzabile, ma non sostituisce l'efficacia del link diretto dalla funzione del video (il semplice copia e incolla), che aveva l'effetto più professionale e si effettuava con meno passaggi. Di conseguenza, come è sempre stato fatto da me, suggerisco di implementare la stessa identica dinamica, ma automatica, nella sezione "incolla link video", per raggiungere lo stesso risultato IDENTICO, ma in automatico, agevolando i neofiti che non hanno dimestichezza con codici, ecc.
Ricordo inoltre allo staff di @ecency che l'errore 500 è ancora presente nella sezione Waves; il crash si vede anche in modalità continua, specialmente quando si va ad effettuare il commento, come da me segnalato anche in questi giorni.
Una delle soluzioni era quella data in un altro contesto, ovvero l'inserimento dei tasti di salita e discesa laterali in tutte le aperture di finestra indicate, in modo da semplificare la navigazione, evitando i crash e il conseguente errore 500.
Rimango fiducioso che #ecency vorrà essere il rivoluzionario front-end che vorrà evolversi. Anche perché i miei suggerimenti sono gratuiti ma non esclusivi; la concorrenza che mi legge magari li sta già attuando. Si tratta solo di volontà di andare verso il miglioramento e arricchimento, che sicuramente l'utenza (unica a decidere le sorti di qualsiasi progetto) noterà soprattutto nel lungo periodo.
Come detto in precedenti occasioni, bisogna guardare con gli occhi dell'utente. Spero che questi consigli servano a TUTTE le piattaforme che in questo ambito vogliano migliorare e apportare modifiche essenziali, a discapito di chi vuole rimanere "IMMOBILE".
Che l'evoluzione abbia inizio; la gara per i miglioramenti è solo alla parte iniziale, quindi supportate l'innovazione!
