IA. My experience as a Venezuelan

in Town Square • last month

I don't know if you, the readers, have had the same experience as I did, but I found Artificial Intelligence to be more useful than I expected; the only regret is that I didn't take advantage of it sooner.

Sadly, I kept hearing—even on social media—that Artificial Intelligence was something bad, useful only for negative purposes. However, it turned out to be an advisor and information aggregator that I had actually needed in the past.

Personally, I use the AI integrated into Google Search because it is free and quickly answers simple questions about topics I know little about—specifically programming and certain English phrases. It can provide estimates, comparisons, and guidance on correcting errors. In my case, I only use it to solve a problem if it explains how to fix it and why the error occurred; this ensures I don't become dependent on it should the same error happen again.

It can be incredibly useful when used correctly, but if the goal isn't to remember, learn, or correct mistakes, one might end up constantly relying on it for the same issue. Thanks to this free advisor, I found free websites that teach programming and are accessible from Venezuela without a VPN. This avoids future issues regarding the legitimacy of any diplomas or certificates I might earn, as well as the methods I use to achieve results.

For me, authenticity, legality, and a good reputation are paramount. I share this so that those who wish to achieve their goals—while staying on the right path—can do so, earning the respect of others by remaining committed to constant improvement and progress, even in the face of adversity.
