Seeing the approach of many Hive blockchain users, sometimes it is hard to distinguish on this platform if someone is serious, or joking about it.
Many people force themselves to do various things on the Hive blockchain.
And they often see the whole activity on the Hive blockchain as a contest and/or some kind of challenge.
Once (many months ago) I saw someone's comment (an Ecency Wave) mentioning that he/she wrote more than 100 comments in that day, and that he/she is tired because of that.
It's the difficulty of having an earning component to basically anything. It makes it "work" for many people. I actually like setting goals myself, because it motivates me to stay consistent, even if I just treat something as a hobby. It's a fine line, but I definitely get where you're coming from
