The last I dropped topic on kpomo, some persons asked questions, like why is dangerous to our health and why they should stop eating, now here are my reasons, why shouldn't eat.
Run away from this kind of kpomo if you want to live long! If you can’t afford meat, please buy crayfish instead this is not cow kpomo.
If you knew how they process this thing, eeh! You wouldn’t need a soothsayer to tell you that it’s one of the major causes of kidney failure in Nigeria.
What you see here is not cow kanda—it’s dead donkey (jaki) and hippo skin! The worst part is that it’s preserved with formalin, a dangerous chemical used for embalming dead bodies in the mortuary.
After soaking it in toxic chemicals like melted tyres and other rubber materials, they leave it in water for months to soften it before selling it to people.
Infact as for me I have stopped eaten it and I hate.
