I think just like Facebook or Google or X, business models need to evolve.
I would want to see Ecency roll out premium services as an addon and maybe improve the app so people can build and grow businesses. Not only engage with votes and tips.
Services similar to "Patreon" for premium content. Improve features to garner audiences, give NFTs or badges and help people sell those in the platform.
Even YouTube, Tiktok and Instagram are rolling out shops features.

Maybe, but people around the world have been able to make a living by selling content, product and services thanks to that. Instead of being a burden holding a government job payed by the extortion of taxes.
If a company is only held together by common funds, is not really a company but a government office.
In Hive everytime DHF pay out, we all have our value substracted in the form of devaluation of our funds. How is that a sustainable model? Why some people deserve being payed with Hive while the rest of users get defrauded by holding a inflationary currency that is worth less each day?
Why do some people request more and more features that they use freely?
But we don't use freely, everything gets paid through inflation.

This may be an unpopular opinion, but as a teacher, I still prefer face-to-face classes over Zoom.I enjoy the games, breakout rooms, and interactive activities, but nothing matches the engagement and impact of being in the same classroom with my students. With projectors and presentations available in most classrooms now, we get the best of both worlds.
And honestly, no breakout room can compete with the classic classroom chaos.... 😄
