Why we built it
Ecency has always been free to use and it stays that way. Publishing, reading, rewards, Waves, Points, image hosting, all of it remains open to everyone. Pro is not a paywall around the product. It is a way for people who get real value out of Ecency to support the work directly and pick up a few things that cost us money to provide.
If you have wanted to back Ecency without hunting for a donation button, this is it. The perks are the thank-you.
What you get
A verified Pro badge. A checkmark next to your name, shown across web and mobile, so people can see at a glance that you are a Pro member. It follows your account everywhere Ecency shows your name.
A free hosted blog. Ecency Blogs normally runs about $2 a month for your own site at yourname.blogs.ecency.com, built from the Hive posts you already own. With Pro, one is included. After you upgrade, claim it right from the Perks page. Your posts stay on the Hive blockchain and the blog is a clean personal front door wrapped around them.
Insights for any creator. Insights are the traffic analytics on a profile: views, unique views, time on page. Your own Insights are free for everyone. Pro unlocks Insights for any creator, so you can study what actually pulls readers and apply it to your own writing. Open the Insights tab on any profile to read it.
A bigger AI allowance. Ecency has a writing assistant and an AI image generator, both with a free daily allowance for everyone. Pro raises that daily allowance, so you can draft, rewrite and generate more before you hit the limit.
Free streak freezes. A streak freeze covers a missed day so a posting streak you have built over months or years does not reset because of one bad day. With Pro, they are free.

Open ecency.com/perks, choose Ecency Pro and pay $19.99 by card. It is one ordinary checkout, no crypto required at any step. Your badge and perks are active as soon as the payment goes through and your free blog is one click away on the same page.
Quick answers
Does it auto-renew? No. There is no recurring subscription and nothing charging your card in the background. You buy a twelve month term and that is the whole commitment. When you want another year, you buy it again.
What happens if I renew before mine ends? Renewing extends your membership from your current expiry date, so you never lose the days you already paid for. Buy early without worrying about wasting time.
Where does the badge show? Next to your name across Ecency, on both the web app and mobile, wherever your account appears.
Is the free blog really the full Ecency Blogs? Yes. It is the same hosted blog at yourname.blogs.ecency.com that others pay monthly for, included with your membership and claimable from the Perks page after you upgrade.
Do I have to be a Pro member to use Ecency? No. Everything core stays free. Pro adds perks and supports the project. It does not lock anything away that was free before.
