Ecencials, we’re thrilled to share a new update to the Ecency App!
This release brings one of the most requested features: Chats on mobile. After updating, you’ll notice a new message icon alongside Waves, Mobile, and Notifications. The pen icon that was previously on there is now moved into a convenient floating button for easier access.
We recently introduced the new chat protocol on the web, and now the mobile version is finally here. Chats on mobile are smooth, intuitive, and fun giving you quick access to conversations in the communities you follow.
This update also includes several important fixes: improved navigation links in Points, proper avatar rendering only for valid usernames, and other issues reported by community members.
Update now, explore the new chats, and stay connected with Ecency wherever you go!

I love this development and I will try to be part of it
This update is excellent. Ecency is definitely quite advanced in terms of interaction, appearance, and the resources needed for a social network and blog in one. I love the idea of messaging in communities; I hope people can get used to using this feature.
Well, I also hope that soon it will be possible to chat directly with other users privately through Ecency. Oh, and I'm also hoping for a translation option for posts, just like there is for comments, in the future.
