We are excited to announce the new version of Waves - the short content app powered by Hive blockchain. π Making short content surfing and engagement super easy! Exactly year ago we released initial version and wanted to gather feedback from short content creators, as it was new and short content was relatively new concept, we didn't see much growth. Now that almost all major apps support and give ability to interact, it was time to we dedicate some of our resources to keep Waves app up to date with improvements.

This release is our 1st update after initial release. It brings a smoother experience, faster login, better discovery tools, and important fixes. Letβs dive into whatβs new:

Wonderful update. Thank you for the good work and effort for the team. May I suggest is there any way to remove those unrelated or rather to say annoying content from ecency waves?
On Waves app, you can just report, it will hide the content only for you. In general you can mute author if you don't want to see their content.

I love these improvements to the platform. Thank you for the information.
Great! Now that I look at it, it seems to work very smoothly. But from now on, I would like to see messages from all Short Content apps in one feed, sorted by time, by default. Currently, you can choose each app by default. I believe this would significantly enhance communication on the Hive network, as well as increase traffic for Ecency (and others).
We did try that in early days of Waves development, it was slow to process multiple containers, we could give it another try and see if we can improve performance in Waves app because it is relatively faster because of lean feature set.
As I mentioned, that's fine, but it would be better if all comments or short posts were from the Hive ecosystem. This also applies to advertising on all short content platforms :)

Yes looks like we will integrate hive notifications next, few people requested notifications and translation. We keep gathering feedback for next update on Waves app.
