The Hive ecosystem thrives on responsibility, transparency, and long-term thinking. Today, we want to share an important update with the community.

Adjusting to Market Conditions
As everyone knows, market conditions change. The price of HIVE fluctuates - and with that, the real value of proposal funding changes too.
Rather than ignore this reality, we are choosing to adapt.
We have decided to reduce our daily proposal request from 396 HBD to 300 HBD.
This is a voluntary reduction.
Not because we're scaling down. Not because we're slowing development. But because we believe responsible stewardship matters.
Our Budget Was Already Tight
Our operational budget has always been:
Carefully planned
Lean and efficient
Focused on delivery
Optimized for long-term sustainability
Even with a reduced request, we will continue:
Shipping features the community loves
Maintaining and improving the platform
Supporting creators and users
Growing the Hive ecosystem
This adjustment reflects discipline - not compromise.
Commitment to Hive's Long-Term Growth
We believe Hive is more than a blockchain.
It’s:
A social ecosystem
A decentralized innovation layer
A creator economy built on ownership
By lowering our funding request during challenging market conditions, we aim to:
Reduce pressure on the DHF
Show alignment with community interests
Lead by example in sustainability
When Hive grows, we grow together.
What Stays the Same
Continued feature development
Infrastructure improvements
Ecosystem contributions
Long-term commitment
Our mission hasn't changed.
If anything, it's stronger.
Thank You ❤️
We are deeply grateful for the community's continued support. The trust placed in us through proposal funding is something we take seriously. We thank all teams and developers taking similar steps and initiative. To improve our transparency further, we are working on spreadsheet that will include all our expenses and will be shared with community once ready.
We remain committed to delivering value - efficiently, responsibly, and transparently.
Let's keep building.
Together.
You all tried to program users that we are here for technology 💁♂️💁♂️ , so I ask you to put it at least 20 HBD or 0 💁♂️💁♂️ , sorry man , I have lost everything a long time ago, but you are still playing with user time and money what comes from are all HP wallet .... and there is no change still. Is Ecency earn some 30 % or 40 % from outside the HIVE world some extra money to buy HIVE also up and put it in HP , **the answer is No ** ... and because of this, sales are also continuing every month in the market. It is the same with all other big apps too 💁♂️
I been here 9 years , Yeah, who the f..k hell cares, but that's why I'm no longer interested in the promises you all make. Sorry man , i just not have more trust . Thats i not give HP and thats why i not hold it 100% in HP also more . 💁♂️💁♂️
We understand your concern and we certainly need to do more to attract investors and users to sustainable growth. Without users and investors, growth will be limited... we are doing our part with innovative approach to development and attract more people into the platform, everyone should do their part for common growth. More focus on marketing would certainly help and we are gradually doing more of that.
Your decision to reduce the daily proposal request from 396 HBD to 300 HBD truly speaks volumes about your leadership and integrity within the Hive ecosystem.
In a space where many projects might simply ride the waves of market fluctuations without adjustment, choosing to proactively respond to changing HIVE prices shows maturity and long-term vision. It reflects not just financial awareness, but deep respect for the community treasury and everyone who supports the proposal system.
What stands out most to me is that this reduction is voluntary. That says everything. It tells us this is not about survival mode or scaling back ambition — it’s about stewardship. It demonstrates that development and responsibility can go hand in hand. You are proving that sustainability is not just a buzzword but a principle guiding your operations.
The fact that your budget was already tight, lean, and optimized makes this even more commendable. It’s easier to cut when there is excess. It’s much harder to trim when you’re already operating efficiently. That discipline shows careful planning and a strong commitment to delivery rather than waste.
Market cycles are part of crypto. HIVE rises, HIVE falls — but credibility and trust are built in moments like this. By adapting instead of ignoring reality, you strengthen confidence in your project and set an example for other proposal teams.
This kind of transparency reassures stakeholders that funds are being handled thoughtfully and that long-term sustainability is prioritized over short-term comfort. It reinforces the idea that the health of the ecosystem matters just as much as the success of any individual project.
Thank you for choosing responsibility, foresight, and integrity. Decisions like this are what help the Hive ecosystem grow stronger and more resilient over time.
Thank you for letting us know.
Building trust in the entire Hive ecosystem is a continuous process that is essential both at good and bad times.
I had an idea the other day, but I'm not sure whether it can be effective in practice.
The content that is uploaded to different Hive platforms every day is massive.
It is indexed by search engines and AI bots, I guess, isn't it?
AI bots use it to answer queries etc., essentially taking advantage of it without the Hive blockchain and its users receiving any benefit in return.
Recently, various platforms and applications have been developed, such as Copyright.sh, for example, to help creators license and monetize their content that is used by bots in one way or another.
Could the Hive content platforms make use of such a facility to monetize the content that is used by AI bots to compensate Hive writers, commenters, posters, and curators?
This could be in the form of an accumulated pool/fund that is fed with AI licensing fees.
These fees, or a percentage of them, could then be distributed/shared among the Hive creators and users who are involved in the creation of the content, that is the community, in fact.
That is the general idea, anyway.
That's interesting idea, we can check possibilities. Thanks for sharing!
I just took a quick look at this, there is no clear evidence that it pays off because hive content is public by default and scrapeable, this process require signed licensing deals and AI companies have no way of tracking how they scraping per token/character based, etc. etc. We will keep an eye on this front though, perhaps development will prove useful.
There is another thing.
Ecency points have not been updated in my account in the last few days.
Thanks!
This is a responsible decision, and I hope it will be sufficient in these difficult times. I don't know what others expect, but to me, the purpose of DHF seems clear: to support the development of Hive applications. Now, if someone thinks that development should be stopped, especially for those applications that have proven over the years to be progressing and attracting new users to the ecosystem, then we are not living on the same planet.
But if we have already reached the point where nothing can help anymore, then the DHF should be abolished for all activities.
My respect for the great work you do fostering community and responsible growth. I hope many more people will join us with the idea of growing together.
