In today’s م, seeing the good isn’t just wishful thinking
—it’s become a vital skill. We need to cultivate the art
and the capacity to consciously seek out the positive
side of everything—and I emphasize, everything. With
practice, this mindset gradually becomes a habit. Our
subconscious begins to automatically notice the brighter
parts of any situation.
Of course, balance is key. We shouldn’t go so far that we
become vulnerable or naive. That’s why I use the term
intelligent optimism.
I’ve experienced this firsthand at work. The same
customers who smile and share joyful moments with me
sometimes clash with my colleagues. Why? Because I’ve
trained myself to see the good in everything—especially
in people.
So yes, even in this noisy, chaotic world that often feels
full of ugliness and dishonesty, it’s still possible to feel
joy and be immersed in a sense of goodness.
Here’s to that feeling—for everyone.
