It's been 5 years since Kristen left her father because he was not creating time for her, ever since her mother passed away, all he cared about was his business. Kristen was a young adult who was so depressed because she has no one to listen to her, she felt alone in her own little world and thoughts of suicide was the only option that felt satisfying.
Meanwhile, Adrian was a guy who had served in the military and had resigned after he lost his best friend to the cold hands of death and he was not able to do anything even when he had the opportunity to. The thought of him causing the death of his friend was refreshed every single day in his head and he was always unable to control his anger. This made him very aggressive towards others because he felt they were making mockery of him.
It was getting harder for Adrian to manage his anger so he decided to leave the house so he won't end up hurting anyone else again. His sister and her husband tried persuading him to stay but he already made up his mind to leave. His sister quickly advised him to always put his challenge before God in prayers. Adrian was no longer a believer because he felt if there was God, he would not have let his friend die.
He went to a bar to get some drinks and while he was drinking, he kept thinking of the advice his sister gave to him, after a while, he stood up to continue his journey to a place he don't even have any idea of where he was going, his sister was all he had. While he was walking, he came to a bridge and at that point, he thought of committing suicide too but while he was still thinking in that direction he saw a lady who was about to jump into the river and he quickly ran to her and pleaded with her not to take her own life and the lady happens to be Kristen.
Adrian couldn't believe he was about to witness somebody loss her life right in front of him again. He began saying some comforting words from the Bible to Kristen telling her that God loves her. He was so surprised how he was able to say those words, he was once a strong believer but after the loss of his friend, he became sceptical about the existence of God. Kristen on the other hand was never a believer, she just believe in doing anything she deemed fit and when she heard those words from Adrian, she felt this peace deep down inside of her and that made her listened to Adrian.
Kristen was so devastated at that point and all she could do was cry on Adrian's shoulder. Because of what happened, Adrian regained his trust once more in God because he was able to save someone today, he took Kristen home and was about to leave but Kristen pleaded with him to stay since she has a very big house and she saw that Adrian had no where to go to. He was reluctant at first but after Kristen threatened to attempt suicide again, he agreed to stay for just that night because he didn't want her to die. The next day was a Sunday, Adrian asked Kristen to follow him to the service of God, she was new to it but she was very willing to go because she knew it was God that saved her life and it just feels right to go appreciate him for what he did.
They arrived early at the church hall and they sat at the front sit waiting for the service to start. After some time on waiting Patiently for the time, the service started fully and everyone was feeling so happy and Kristen was just so overwhelmed at how they sing and the smiles on their faces, she felt she was in the sanctuary, she has never felt such love for a very long time now, same with Adrian. The preacher gave a sermon that convinced them that no matter what they may be passing through, there is peace in Christ and the sermon was concluded with a song Blest be the tie that binds, it was a hymn. Kristen could feel the hairs in her body standing so firm on her skin.
At the end of the service, everyone were coming one after the other to welcome the both of them to the service and this act put a very beautiful smile on their faces. They felt so welcomed and for the first time, Kristen was not eager to leave the gathering because she felt so at peace with herself and the world right there, with everyone, unlike usual.
After that day, Kristen and Adrian always made sure they didn't miss a gathering for any reason because they knew they've found a place to call their home, the people around them, made them feel so much at home. Kristen was able to overcome the loneliest she felt and Adrian was able to forgive himself and devoted his life to saving people in anyway he could than to keep letting the past hunt him down over the life he could not save.

I also think that suicide is not the solution of anything. Life can be more beautiful, we just need to think about our life from a different view.

You're so right partner, suicide it's never an option, I'm just so happy they met each other. We sometimes just have to think positively about ourselves, we should love ourselves if not we can easily get the thoughts of committing suicide.

Loneliness is a very bad thing, most people commit suicide because they're lonely, that's why we hear this days that we should always checkup on our love ones.

it's intriguing how when one decides to suicide, they found another person that is also doing the same, and they realise that they have to save the person from doing the same thing! They found other ppl's lives more worthy of theirs and in turn it saved themselves
Adrian was angry with himself because he was not able to save his friend, so seeing that somebody was about to loss her life in his presence, gave him the chance to right his wrong.
