Never understood the problem most people have with points? We are gettin them for free only while doing things on chain we would do anyway, dont we? ;-)
As we have a lot of boosted posts to review, we have to take care of ecencys VP. So best way is to ask for 150 points boost.
By the way there was an official ecency announcenent some days ago. Boost system will be discontinued and they think about new usecases for the points
Hi @beeber , as you have just pointed out, these are points for using Ecency, upvote, comment, reblog or just simply stay on the platform and you get points.
But whats the point if I can't boost my own posts? 3 out of the last 10 times I've tried it went thru, the rest were refunded to me and I ended up giving them away.
Peakd doesn't mess with points and has a better system if you ask me.
For the longest time I've come here to reply to a comment (and upvote it, not many folk upvote comments)
So I guess I'll just delete my bookmark to the site so I won't fall back into this hole.
PS. I hardly ever see any announcements.
Ah I see, that of course makes a difference.
As I once started with ecency on hive, for me personally it always was my favorite and I never got very familiar with peakd or hiveblog. I tried but we're not my thing 🤷♀️
So If you dont really like it and only use for the points I understand. Hopefully we get other usecases.
We are connected anyway :-) thats the greatest thing about hive, everybody can find a place he likes

Please send me these points, I post daily and also boost my post daily.
I post every few days, and I TRY to boost my post, but it seems 95% of the time, it is refunded, that is how I end up with so many points
Received 200 point's. Thanks alot dear. When you boost your post by 150 points, your post will be boosted because I have been its curator.
I've tried various amounts, I thought there was a 200 pt minimum, so that is what I would shoot for most of the time
150 points are minimum.
Therefore, I never ever tried for anything (boost amount) below the minimum. It won't let you in the first place.
At one point I was told something about "the curators didn't like to curate the higher amounts" (I think I had been trying to use most of my points in one boost, that NEVER worked)
I've grown tired the game of trying to predict what will or will not work.
Why am I still talking about this @djbravo?

That's a rather short sighted view! You never know what plans Ecency may have in the future to reward people who have Points in their wallet! I'm glad someone will benefit from your generous gift! Ecency just announced that boosts for content is being discontinued and there will be new uses for Points!

Maybe I'll come back when some decision has been made as to future to reward people who have Points in their wallet!
Then I'll know more about what I'm getting into.
