Comedy wasn't always a big part of my life, but it's become an integral part of who I am. My journey as a comedian wasn't straightforward, but I believed in myself and knew that with effort, I could turn it into a career or a significant part-time activity.
I discovered that I could make people laugh through jokes, discussions, and even online chats. It all started at home, where my mom would admire my funny talks during family discussions. She'd often say that my presence lit up the room, and when I traveled, the family would miss my comedic flair.
However, I didn't value my comedy skills much until an old friend invited me to join him in a skit. He was a senior in secondary school, and I respected him, so I agreed. He told me to bring a friend along, and I chose my best friend. We were excited, and another person joined us, making us four. We considered naming ourselves "Fantastic Four," but it didn't work out.
As time passed, disagreements arose, and our group split due to disputes over profit sharing and control of our social media platforms. It was clear that one person's selfish interests and greed had caused the division. It's been three years since then, and I'm left wondering what could have been.
