Good evening guys, i am here to share some activities being " carried on" in the workshop where i work, i will also love to share objects, materials/equipments and it's uses.
In our working place, we have a workshop where tools are being kept, in each shifts of work, like the morning duty , there are 4 engineers who stays at the workshop, two electrical engineers and two mechanical engineers, at night same. These engineers are the ones who usually makes use of the equipments in the workshop, they are allowed into the workshop to and fro than any other person.
In the workshop i see things like electric motor, these motors are heavy in weight, costly in prices and functions a great work in machines, in the workshop i saw almost 200 electric motors both big and small sizes, i later tried carrying the smallest motor in the workshop, I can't really lift it up well do to its weight is about 30kg. I saw other things like fan belts which supports the motor to function.
Other equipments that i saw are tools boxes which contains hammer, screws, screw drivers, pliers, seal tapes, wires , elections touch, metre etc. I saw other things like safety wears including hand gloves, socks, rain boots/boots, Coats and many others.
Chain block is another heavy tool i saw at the workshop, the work of a chainblock is usually to help where things are hard to bring out, like rusted iron or metal pipes, stiff chains, tightened screws, etc. I have watched some enginners used chain blocks to pullout a stiff chain.
Therefore in the workshop there are nany equipments, tools, materials, wears , everyone with it's functions, these materials are usually rechecked every weekend, concerning the in and out activities record, let me just say a kind of stock taking or so...
