I think committing to a 4- years staking is a whole lot of time to be locking up your CRO, but at a 11% APY, that's a really good profit, but still, you'll need 500$ upwards which is also not small

It's a long time for lockup for traders. My timeline is longer. Compounding doesn't really start being magic until after about 20 years, which is something we should also consider on Hive. This blockchain hasn't been around enough years for any of us to see the results of 20+ years of compounding rewards.
