๐ก Most users predict that the merger has the potential to boost the value of Ethereum, which, like Bitcoin, is facing ongoing challenges amid broader economic uncertainty. Hence Ethereum prices may rise in the coming days and may fall within the next week.In my opinion, the merge will not have a very significant effect on the Eth Price
ETH destroying all other coins which are connected with eth because its value not improving
๐ก In my opinion, the merge will not have a very significant effect on the ETH price, it will just make it easier and reduce the power consumption. Those are not major factors to boost the price.
๐กMy reasons being with the current market situation, alot of people are still skeptical about the global crypto market. And also the issue of buy the rumor sell the news will be the most prevalent issue with the merge ETH also I think with the recent bearish trend in crypto market, I think most investors are looking for opportunities to go long on crypto with big hypes surrounding it. Retailers will tend to hold longer thereby nullifying the statement "buy the rumour sell the news".
๐ก The bear market is also not only in the crypto world. The inflation rate have greatly increased the bear. And wit the ditching of the PoW, some of the beneficiaries of the PoW scheme will be probably reluctant to delve into the market until the PoS is proven to be effective in the ethereum blockchain
