Working an honest job attracts a weird sort of Internet trolling.

The level of brutality and savagery on the internet is wild and there are moments when people start to develop depressing thoughts because of the nasty comments they got from someone on the Internet. What's rather weird about this is that some of the people who make these nasty comments do it because they want to make others miserable. They are most likely miserable themselves.

I was digging into a YouTube short where a lad shared a video of himself making Pizza as an employee at Papa John's. For the record, Papa John's is a restaurant chain that specializes in Pizza deals and delivery. As for the young lad who shared the video of himself working as a Pizza maker in the restaurant, he got some sadistic comments which didn't seem inspiring at all.

One of the comment that caught my attention is;

You're wasting your time working at Pa John's for minimum wage lmao 🤣

That's exactly the comment from a user who goes by halie228. I didn't edit, add, or omit anything in the comment. That's exactly how it was written and you can sense that the comment wasn't made as an attempt to help the young lad in any way. Instead, it was a hateful comment targeted at a young lad who's working an honest job.

That is a weird sort of shaming and it's something that happens a lot more than you can imagine. It shouldn't make sense for anyone to hate an individual or make a caricature of that person for working an honest job, regardless of the skill required to do that job or the salary range. But, really weird things seem to happen especially on the Internet.

The trolls are always ready to use their keyboard power and make people miserable. A lot of people have fallen victim to their antics and they will always move from one victim to another. Would you let them drag you through the mud when you are honestly doing your best to build a life for yourself?

That wouldn't be a good idea.

Most people start small in life and work themselves to the top. Most successful lucrative business owners had moments when they were still at the grassroots level. Most CEOs had moments when they were just like every other employee in an organization. Big influencers on social media platforms had moments when their content was generating very low views. But, they all did their best and moved up the ladder.

That's the typical "grass to grace" story and nobody gets there by allowing trolls to get the best of them. Don't allow internet trolls to shut you up. They are not interested in your success. They just want to see you give up on the honest work you are doing. Ignore their antics and continue giving your best in any position you find yourself.

Remember, if you do well in a trivial low-earning position, you will also do well when you get to the top.

Thanks For Not Missing Any Full-stop or Comma.

There is definitely a difference between standing on the shoulders of giants versus stepping on others to try and prop yourself up... I hope you made a comment for that pizza maker to come post his videos on HIVE instead of YouTube:) #dreemer

True. The internet has been a place for some people to come and step on people's toes and make them feel little. Thankfully, some people on the Internet are more interested in doing what's right and giving support to others.

Hive surely counts as a good place to share content. 3speak is a good monetization opportunity for Video makers and it will easily blow up once Hive gets a huge user base.

It's pretty easy to sit behind a keybord and give an anonymous negative comment that is probably fueled by the authors own unhappyiness. Sometimes I believe that by sharing everything we do, we just give a platform to those negative people and it may be better just to keep things for ourselves :-)

Exactly. I concur with the idea of keeping some portion of our life to ourselves. It's not a good idea to leave our digital footprint all-over the Internet because there are people out there who can use that to cause harm to what we are trying to achieve.

I would really want some pizza right now.

But the sweet circular bread price range is truly criminal 😭😭😭

A lot of honest work can't afford pizza ooo😭😭😭😂😂😭

Lol... No be lie oooo. It's weird shaaa. Some people who work for a whole year still can't afford a luxurious weekend vacation. Life is just not easy. Haha

funny, this same topic came up here today.
it is marvelously fascinating, because people that do that go out of their way to do this. investing energy to leave an energetic turd behind thag doesn't help anyone.

it is the energetics then that can tell a lot about someone, even if he has merely written a one-sentence poop comment.

They commit a lot of resources to leave such comments and the only thing they achieve at the end is to make people miserable. Their comments are not helpful to anyone.

People will always be people. When you commit a crime, you hear them talking and when you engage in a business to help your dear life, you will still hear them talk. Rich or poor, they will always have one or two things to say.

I just find it hard to understand why and how some people comfortably sit and type statements which will completely shatter another person.
I don't mind saying that the user who made that comment is jobless and probably, without any source of income and he or she had the gut to insult another, who could boast of a three square meal 🥘.

#Dreemerforlife.

It's just a highlight of what the internet world is all about. So much happens and a lot of people come up to type things away because they feel they can say anything and get away with it.

Some people have been discouraged because of the sort of comment they got and it's a shame that the comments are not even coming from people who are worth getting their attention.

At this point in my life I am so scared of becoming famous as nobody is spared. Imagine people trolling you constantly and it gets crazier the higher you go.

Always a #dreemerforlife

That's sadly the life of people who have their digital footprint all-over the Internet. One of the reason people feel comfortable about sharing things on Hive is because a lot of people give positive feedback.

In some other social media platforms, the trolls do a really good job of shouting people down with their keyboard power.

Well I have actually come to discover that no matter what you do, people will talk and that is where the trolling comes to the picture. People will still speak no matter what actually. All we need to do is just to ignore them and continue doing that which we know how to do

That's the fact. When people want to play the troll card, they will do it even against the most successful person in the world. There comes a time when we have to realize that the trolls are not worth getting our attention.

I agree that miserable people are the ones behind those troll accounts, they just want to make others feel as miserable as them.

#dreemport

That's the reality of this Internet era.
