Restaura tus fotografías antiguas usando IA
La mayoría de nosotros (Milenials) tiene por casa un álbum de fotos familiares. Era lo más común antes de llegar a nuestras vidas la era digital. Para muchas de nuestras madres y abuelas sigue siendo una reliquia invaluable que guardan y protegen con amor. Un recuerdo de cuando la vida era más simple, con memorias de juventud y olor a maravillosos momentos. Sin embargo, existen factores como el tiempo y las travesuras inocentes que atentan contra las fotografías.
En mi caso específico me gustaba mucho mirar esas instantáneas de mi infancia, época escolar y las celebraciones de mis cumpleaños. Recientemente me asaltó la nostalgia y quise ojear el álbum. Para mi sorpresa encontré una fotografía rota y otras en mal estado. Así que me puse a investigar si existían formas para restaurarla y encontré la solución que te comparto hoy.
Fotor es una página web que usa la Inteligencia Artificial para darle una segunda oportunidad a nuestras viejas fotos. Por suerte es gratuita para su prueba, aunque te añade una marca de agua. Un bajo precio para rescatar nuestras memorias. Siempre está la opción de pagar por su servicio, una gran forma de apoyar su trabajo.
El uso de la plataforma es muy simple, estos son los pasos que necesitas seguir:
1- En tu navegador de preferencia abre el enlace siguiente 👉 Fotor
2- Ya dentro de la web nos auténticamos con una cuenta de correo (Yo use Gmail)
3- Subiremos la foto a restaurar en mi caso fue esta
4- Nos desplegará una serie de opciones en la parte inferior de la fotografía, nos desplazamos hasta casi el final y tocaremos la penúltima herramienta llamada Restaurador
5- Una vez hecho esto nos aparecen dos opciones a elegir, ya preseleccionadas. En el caso que la imagen que tenemos ya sea a color desmarque Colorizador
6- Tocamos en comenzar y esperamos a que se haga la magia.
7- Una vez terminado solo queda descargar y disfrutar del resultado

Most of us (Millennials) have a family photo album at home. It was the most common thing before the digital age came into our lives. For many of our mothers and grandmothers, it remains an invaluable relic that they keep and protect with love. A memory of when life was simpler, with memories of youth and the smell of wonderful moments. However, there are factors such as time and innocent pranks that affect photographs.
In my specific case, I really liked looking at those snapshots of my childhood, school days and my birthday celebrations. Recently I was overcome with nostalgia and wanted to look through the album. To my surprise I found a torn photograph and others in poor condition. So I started to investigate if there were ways to restore it and I found the solution that I share with you today.
Fotor is a website that uses Artificial Intelligence to give our old photos a second chance. Luckily it is free to try, although it adds a watermark. A low price to rescue our memories. There is always the option to pay for their service, a great way to support their work.
Using the platform is very simple, these are the steps you need to follow:
1- In your preferred browser, open the following link
2- Once on the website we authenticate ourselves with an email account (I used Gmail)
3- We will upload the photo to restore, in my case it was this one
4- A series of options will be displayed at the bottom of the photograph, we scroll to almost the end and we will touch the penultimate tool called Restorer
5- Once this is done, two options appear to choose from, already preselected. In the event that the image we have is already in color, uncheck Colorizer
6- We tap start and wait for the magic to happen.
7- Once finished, all you have to do is download and enjoy the result
