About 12 years ago, I bought a pomegranate seedling on Rakuten, and this year, it finally bore fruit for the very first time!
For several years, it had been blooming with many flowers but never produced any fruit, so I started wondering if it needed cross-pollination with another variety.
That’s why I was overjoyed when I saw this single fruit appear!
When I first bought the seedling, it was about 50 cm tall, but now it’s grown to nearly 5 meters and produces countless flowers every June.
I hope that next year, it will bear more than one fruit so I can share them with my aunt, who advised me to plant it in the first place.
Twelve years have passed in the blink of an eye.

För ungefär tolv år sedan köpte jag ett granatäppleträd på Rakuten, och i år bar det äntligen frukt för allra första gången!
Under flera år har det blommat rikligt, men aldrig fått några frukter, så jag började tro att det kanske behövde pollineras med en annan sort.
Därför blev jag verkligen lycklig när jag såg den första frukten!
När jag köpte plantan var den ungefär 50 centimeter hög, men nu har den vuxit till nästan fem meter och blommar rikligt varje juni.
Jag hoppas att den nästa år ska ge mer än en frukt, så att jag kan dela dem med min moster som rådde mig att plantera trädet från början.
Tolv år har gått så fort.

楽天市場で12年ぐらい前に買ったザクロの苗が遂に果実し、今年初めて1つだけ実をつけました！ 数年前から花はたくさん咲き始めたのですが、1つも果実しなかったので、きっとこれは他の種類のザクロを植えて違う種類の受粉が必要なのだろうかと思い始めたときの果実だったのでとても嬉しかったです。 ザクロの苗は買った時は50cm位だったのですが、今では5メートル位になって６月には毎年たくさんの花をさかせます。 来年は1つ以上の果実すると、植えるのをアドバイスしてくれた叔母と一緒に食べれたらいいなと感じています。 あっという間の１２年でした。
