Takengon is the capital of Central Aceh Regency, Aceh Province, Indonesia. Takengon is located on the side of Lake Laut Tawar, Lut Tawar sub-district in the middle of the province of Aceh. Takengon is a plateau with cool air with an altitude of about 1200 m above sea level.
Many of the commodities that come from here, the other main one is coffee.
