The old bookstore.. #ecencycontest Story #2

in Ecency3 months ago

The old bookstore at the end of the street had been closed for years—until today. As I walked by, I noticed the faded sign creaking in the gentle breeze, now reading "Open" in bold, new letters. Curiosity got the better part of me, and I pushed open the creaky door.

The musty smell of old books enveloped me, transporting me back to childhood memories. The store's interior was unchanged, with shelves upon shelves of dusty tomes. A bespectacled owner, seemingly ageless, looked up from behind the counter and smiled. "Welcome back," he said, as if I'd been there just yesterday. I wandered the aisles, rediscovering forgotten favorites, and feeling like I'd stumbled upon a treasure trove. Still recurring vividly the book that helped me pass my exams years back, I couldn't do better than join in ransacking those old shelves.

I screenshoted The story line given, and it helped me think deeply about it
This is me entry on this week's writing contest on the #enency finish the tail contest. Am happy to participate for the first time

I really like books, in addition to reading them I like to have them organized and clean. They have memories, stories and lives of their own and others.

Yeah, and that is a really good way to stay informed

Reading books is part of my hobbies. It makes me feel inspired

Oh wow, that's awesome.
